Adult Day Services
Adult Day Services (ADS) is a program designed to assist individuals to remain at home by supporting and educating Caregivers and providing clients with a range of health, personal, social and recreational services in a safe, holistic environment.
ADS offers families an opportunity to “take a break” from caregiving responsibilities and enables clients to engage with peers in a program tailored to individual needs, interests and abilities.

- Caregiver respite, support & information
- Socialization & peer support
- Recreational activities & events
- Physical exercise
- Cognitive stimulation
- Nutritious meals & snack
- Some assistance with personal care
- Health status monitoring
- Transportation to/from program for qualifying clients
Who is eligible?
To participate in the program, you must meet eligibility requirements for receiving Home & Community Care services which includes having been assessed as requiring Adult Day Services as part of your care plan.
