What is the Purpose of Gustavson House?
The purpose is both social and therapeutic. A place to meet and make friends, and share good times. It is also a place where you can find out information about mental health to help you be proactive in helping yourself.
Gustavson House provides its members with a positive, safe and supportive environment. It is designed to help individuals who have mental health issues increase their quality of life through peer support, access to relevant information and opportunities to gain new skills, interests and friendships.
Who Can Join?
Adults suffering from serious and persistent mental illness. Referrals are made through the Adult Mental Health Clinicians at the Interior Health Authority.
A trained facilitator is available for support and resources.
Group is on Wednesdays from 3:00 – 6:30 pm
